Does my Aquatic Dwarf Frog have an infection because it has 3 kind of red spots on it?

Question: It has a red spot under each arm pit and it has one on top of it head between it eyes. I hope nothing is wrong with it! Please help!

Answer: It may have been mislabled. Look up african clawed frog and see if that's similar. I only mention that type because I've heard of this happening on auqarium websites before. If it's not that take it to the pet store and see what they have to say. It's probably just it developing, but I'm not really sure. Hope he's okay though! Good luck. Here's a clip from a site I found that MAY (or may not) be what you need to read: ADF sexing is a bit tough, the males have a white spot where their arm-pit is, the males also (in warmer months) sing. It sounds like a buzz or humm. The females on the other hand are the opposite of this except the females are usually bigger. When getting your ADF, make sure it is a true ADF. ADF's are commonly mistaken for the African clawed frog (ACF). make sure this doesnt not happen because, unlike the African dwarf frog, (ACF) African clawed frogs grow big, and will eat other fish in the tank. The ACF grows up to 5 inches
