Question: Example oil over acrylic, or acrylic over oil. The canvas is primed with acrylic.
Answer: Acrylic paint will not adhere properly if you put it over oil piant, no matter how dry it is. You would be setting yourself up for a future disaster. You can have both media on the same canvas. I sometimes do that. but I keep them separate. Here's a link to one I did that way.
