Question: seems to have a light brown discoloration of sorts. It might be shell rot, but i'm not sure. Help? i have a turtle-shaped dissolving thing in there that should keep it from getting shell rot.
Answer: They shell squares do shed too. And new one grow as they get bigger. It could be that patch may be about to shed soon or form a new square. But i would also get it checked out for rot as well .
